Last month, we announced the launch of iCrops - a community initiative and ongoing partnership with AmpleHarvest.org to reduce food waste and supply under-served families with fresh produce. We are happy to share that in this short time, iCrops has raised enough money to connect an entire group of gardeners with a local food pantry. Now, any surplus food they grow will be distributed throughout their community, rather than end up in a landfill.
"We have been so fortunate, not only to work with AmpleHarvest.org, but to witness the manner in which this effort has brought our employees together," said Mike Hadley, President & CEO of iCorps Technologies. "But if this partnership has taught us anything, it's that the most meaningful efforts always have room to grow. That is why, going into the new year, we invite you to join iCrops and help close the gap for families across the country."
Tip: Donating is now easier than ever! Text "iCrops" or "iCorps" to 44321 to be directed to our donation page.
iCorps employees, clients, or supporters can join the iCrops giving back initiative by participating in one-time or ongoing donations. AmpleHarvest.org utilizes all donations made through the iCrops initiative to fund the technology, website, and staff that enable gardeners and farmers to locate food pantries that accept garden-fresh produce for families and individuals who cannot afford.
